October 16th - After the War with Hannelore and Berlin Still's

A war child's testimony - accomplished international artist G. Scott MacLeod pays homage to the oral histories of post-war Berliner Hannelore Scheiber in a preliminary 30 minute seven-vignette video storyboard, dealing with her Cold War experiences from 1945 to 1982. There will also be a live performance of some of the music from the sound-track.

This collection of photos was taken on location in Berlin in September of 2006, during the shooting of my documentary After the war with Hannelore. Some of these shots will be used in the final film as stills, or animated in the seven vignettes about Hannelore’s life in Berlin. I have chosen to exhibit these stills as they are key icons and signposts I used when storyboarding the film.
