The Maxwell Haus studios and gallery were created as a forum to cultivate arts and culture in Montreal’s West End. Initially this space was created by artist G. Scott MacLeod.

It has been supported by Peter McAuslan from McAuslan Brewery. This art studio and gallery is on the second floor of the McAuslan Visitor Centre. The space has now accomodated, The MacLeod 9 Studio and Art Gallery, A Brief Canadian History, La Raza Group, Bernard Parson’s Design Studio and Shaun Pilot.
