The Vinland Cycle In this installation and performance we have adapted the Vinland Saga into a live and independently operated digital and audio performance. The Vinland Saga is a thousand-year-old Viking myth that tells the story of the Icelanders and Greenlanders who made the voyage to Vinland, which some historians today consider to be the L'Anse Aux  Meadows site in Newfoundland. This piece is performed in the round using new technology to tell the story of these brave men and women's passage across teh North Atlantic and their dealings with the natives. With the use of projections and monologues from the saga in English and in Icelandic we have created a performance that maintains the ancient poetic and imagistic style of storytelling.
